The Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Senior Consultants who will be part of our EIA teams, with specialisms in infrastructure and/or property EIA.
Applicants need to be client focused with a positive and proactive attitude, excellent communication and organisational skills and happy to work as part of a team.
All roles will work closely with our internal teams and a wide range of external partners, to deliver across a range of projects.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of EIA, including relevant guidelines as well as the planning and consenting process and a proven track record of managing multidisciplinary teams for EIA, on time and on budget.
They will also be expected to have excellent project management, report writing and client liaison skills with a keen eye for detail and a positive attitude towards business development.
Consultancy requires knowledge of project management techniques and methodologies. We expect all candidates to have a passion for learning and professional development as well as project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction is achieved on time and within budget.
The Candidates
We expect the successful candidates will:
- have 4-8 years of consulting experience depending on the grade (client-facing experience desirable)
- have project delivery experience with a strong work ethic, able to be organised, flexible and motivated
- demonstratable experience contributing to, and for seniors, managing the delivery of, EIA projects
- be confident, show initiative, be enthusiastic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to liaise at all levels
- be degree educated and working actively towards membership and/or chartership of a relevant professional institute.
Experience of any of the following would be useful.
- project management experience or relevant qualifications such as APM etc
- a specialist in one or more of the traditional EIA disciplines, planning or sustainability
- awareness and understanding of environmental management plans/CoCPs (or equivalent) to support construction property development projects
- Project management qualifications such as APM, Prince 2 etc
- Experience of work on major infrastructure projects and programmes including energy and/or water experience is desirable.
